The Finals of the PGETC season 2025/2026 start on August 3rd in Ankara, Türkiye, at the European Go Congress 2026.
The finals sees the best teams of the season fighting each other over 3 rounds, in the middle of the biggest European Go event. Exciting!

The games will be broadcast on IGS, so you can follow the action live.

The main referee during the tournament will be Manja Marz 4d (EGF president and PGETC project leader).

The first round will take place in the morning at 10:00 CEST (11:00 local time).
Czechia will face France, Germany will face Ukraine.

The second round will start at 15:00 CEST (16:00 local time), with Czechia playing Germany, and Ukraine playing France.

The third and last round will start on the next day, August 4th, at 15:00 CEST (16:00 local time). Czechia will play against Ukraine, France will play against Germany.

The top boards will be reviewed in English by Mr Motoki Noguchi 7d on the Twitch channel of the EGF (https://twitch.tv/europeangofederation), half an hour after the actual start.
