Was selected as a Go instructor for foreigners, and was sent to the US in order to promote Go by Korea Baduk Association, sponsored by the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Tied-winner at the US Go Congress Open in 2013.

In 2006, I have joined American Go Association (AGA) and started playing at AGA tournaments. In 2009, I represented the North America in the Samsung World Masters in Korea. In 2010, I won the US Cotsen Open in Los Angeles. In 2013, I won the Pandanet North American City League Championship. In 2013, I represented the North America in the SportAccord World Mind Games in China. In 2014, I won the US Open Pair Go Championship and represented the US in the International Amateur Pair Go Championship in Japan
